Society Pax Romana
Pax Romana is a Dutch living history society that represents a reconstruction of Roman soldiers and civilians as they lived in the Netherlands. The emphasis is on the first century AD, around the year 68.
At present, the association has various military and civilian representations which the members actively contribute to disclose the Roman history of the Netherlands.

Pax Romana is specialised in the interactive reconstruction of the military and civilian life along the Limes in the Roman Netherlands of the 1st century AD.
Reconstructions

Pax Romana is closely involved with (Dutch) archaeology. A lot of objects reconstructed and used by the society were originally found in the Netherlands.
